Clearyl Water Filters are only for use with the Jura Capresso Z5, Z6, S9 Avantgarde, S7 Avantgarde, E9, E8, and F7. The Clearyl system will reduce water hardness up to 75%, as well as removing large percentages of chlorine, lead, copper, and aluminum from your water if they are present.

I think it's too pricy, but as long as it's doing its job, I'll continue to use it. I'm using this filter according to the instructions and so far no calcification, so it's probably working.
The only other place that we have found these is Williams-Sonoma. We always keep one on hand so we can change it when the machine displays the message "replace filter". I have a Jura-Capresso E-8 coffee maker and this is the water filter that it calls for. We have never had any problems with the filters and they are pretty simple to change.
It works, but after a few months (with regular filter changes) the Capresso will build up sediment and end up dripping coffee instead of gushing. I don't live in an area with particularly hard water, but the filters don't seem to handle regular water that well either.
It arrived quickly and was less expensive than ordering it directly from the manufacturer. The product works well.
They are a bit pricey, but worth it. We don't have to use the hard water tablets because we have always used the filter. This filter has worked well in our Jura. The coffee tastes great.
